The Historical Journey of our Farm
1438:
The first family to own this farm were known as the Grossi
family. During this period the farm was surrounded by miles
of pristine woodland and bush. The farm had a small house
for living, a beautiful court yard and an out door oven
where bread was made fresh daily.
1652:
The farm was rented out for the sum of 100 sacks of grain to
a man by the name of Biagio Alfazio.
1802:
During this period, for reasons that are unknown, the farm
was held by the administration of the University of Turin.
1926:
My great grandfather, Giuseppe Fogliato, bought the farm and
the farm has been in our family ever since.
2008: Cascina Bellezza B&B was born!
